What is Microneedling?
Microneedling uses tiny needles to puncture the surface of the skin to create micro tears. The body then reacts by triggering a wound healing response. An intense repair, renewal and rejuvenation of the area then occurs delivering amazing results for your skin.
How is it done?
Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles. These small contact points encourage the body to create a wound healing response and renew the skin cells.
This procedure is carried out using a digital machine method with either a plastic or metal cartridge.
What is involved?
By needling the skin, we are abrading the skin, creating a pathway for serums to penetrate the epidermis and rejuvenate the skin from within. This is creating a dual effect of putting the skin into a heal response phase of regeneration, whilst feeding it with serums that target the skins needs.

Microneedling FAQ's
No, the needles are targeted and less invasive than other needling techniques.
There is very little downtime with this treatment. You will look red immediately afterwards, but this will subside within 24hours. The skin starts healing immediately- there will be a noticeable difference within 2 treatments. You may experience some mild peeling. This is very normal as the dehydrated skin leaves the stratum corneum.
Treatments with the plastic cartridge can be taken every 1-2 weeks, but with the metal cartridge, treatments should be performed 1 month apart. For maximum results a series of 6 treatments are recommended, followed by a further 2 treatments. 2-3 months apart.
