What is Dermal Filler?

Dermal Filler FAQ's
A dermal filler is a gel that is injected into the line or wrinkle, cheeks or lips and immediately plumps up the area treated. We offer an anesthetic cream to make the treatment comfortable for the patient.
Normally only one treatment is necessary to get the results you want. The amount of filler we inject depends on the patient and your expectations will be discussed at your free consultation.
Before we start the treatment, we offer an anesthetic cream to numb the area to be treated. This makes the injections more comfortable for the patient. Some redness and swelling can be expected after the treatment, but most patients can return to work directly after the treatment.
The effects of a dermal filler can last between 6 months and 2 years depending on the type of product we use. We offer fillers that last from 6 to 12 months and some that are longer lasting. We will advise which would be the best treatment to use for your particular circumstances.
