How soon will you see results and how long do the results last?
After anti-wrinkle treatment, the muscles will begin to relax over a period of 3-14 days. A further treatment may be needed at 14 days to maximise the anti-wrinkling effect. The result will be a softer and more relaxed looking you.
Anti-wrinkle treatments typically last between 3 to 4 months (however this may differ from person to person) and can be repeated when needed. Most patients require less frequent treatments over time as the muscles ‘re-train’ and weaken from disuse.

Anti-wrinkle injection treatments work by freezing muscles around the injected area, which prevents movement and stops skin from folding. This treatment is popular both with older clients who would like to correct and reduce the appearance of fine line and wrinkles and also for younger clients who want to prevent lines from forming.
It is very effective for treating fine lines and wrinkles around the face, the most commonly treated areas of frown lines, crow’s feet and laughter lines.
There are many reasons why anti-wrinkle injections are so popular. Many people find that by having repeated treatments every 3-6 months in one area, the results improve over time. Another main benefit is that treatment can prevent new lines from forming and be used as a preventive measure.
An anti-wrinkle treatment will take no more than 15 – 30 minutes to complete. Results can appear after 48 hours however full results are noticeable 2 weeks after treatment. The effects can last from 3 – 6 months. Some clients may require a top up and review at the two-week stage and this can be arranged when required for optimal results.
Most clients can go back to work the same day after treatment however some choose to have treatments few days in advance so that if any minor bruising does appear it will heal before a social occasion.
